Tara Rice, Student Support Facilitator

My name is Tara Rice and I will be serving as the Student Support Facilitator at Hodges Elementary.  I have had the privilege of working for the past 7 years with Greenwood School District 50, beginning as an instructional assistant then as the Student Support Facilitator for Merrywood Elementary, ECC and Mathews Elementary.  I find great joy in serving students and their families.  I am a graduate of Lander University with a BS degree in Sociology.  Prior to joining Greenwood School District 50, I worked at a counselor at Cornerstone for a combined 18 years.  I am currently also working as a licensed Realtor here in Greenwood.  All of my career opportunities, both past and present, have allowed me to share my passion for serving others and helping them reach their goals.

I have been married to my husband Greg for more than 30 years.  Greg and I have two children, Lily Claire and Max.  I enjoy traveling, camping and reading in my spare time.
