Nashari Williams has been named Hodges Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Williams is a dedicated and passionate educator who has made GSI Hodges Elementary her lifelong home. Since beginning her teaching career in 2015, immediately after graduating from Lander University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, Mrs. Williams has poured her heart into the students of Hodges. In 2024, she furthered her expertise, earning a Master's in Diverse Teaching and Learning, also from Lander University.
Mrs. Williams' commitment to excellence has been recognized beyond the school walls, as she was honored with the prestigious WYFF Golden Apple Award. She is an active member of the International Teacher's Organization, Delta Kappa Gamma, demonstrating her dedication to professional growth and collaboration. Furthermore, she currently serves as the President of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma in Greenwood, SC, showcasing her leadership and commitment to her fellow educators.
More than just a teacher, Mrs. Williams sees her role as a calling. She is deeply passionate about her career and grateful for the opportunity to positively impact the lives of the next generation.
