Next week we will recognize “See Something, Say Something Week” in Greenwood School District 50. This is a nationally recognized week in memory of, and to raise awareness from, the tragic events of Sandy Hook Elementary. During this week, we will be talking to our students about letting a trusted adult know if/when they hear or see something that is unsafe. As a way to reinforce the important message of this week, we will have themed dress-up days as well as morning announcements and a classroom lesson on school safety. Your child is encouraged to participate in the themed days by dressing accordingly.
