The numbers are in, and we are ranked ✨39th ✨out of 638 elementary schools in the state of SC!!!! Up 79 spots from last year with kindness, curiosity, and hard work leading the way. Our students and teachers are AMAZING! Congratulations to our fellow D50 elementary schools for moving up the ranks as well. #weareD50

The new school year is quickly approaching. To help you prepare, we have attached the school supply lists for each grade level. You may bring your supplies when you attend the orientation drop-in.

We are pleased to announce that the Hodges Little Free Library is open and ready for use! Simply drop a book you wish to donate in the blue return bin and take a book from the appropriate drawer. Drawers are labeled by grade level bands and adult books. Directions for how to use the library are posted on the wall above the library. Click this message to see a video about this effort to spread the love of literacy across our community. Feel free to visit the Little Free Library before and after school at your leisure.

Sirius and Holly are officially adopted by our school. Sirius is a humpback whale and Holly is an orca. In December, our students participated in a fund raising event to hopefully adopt one whale. We raised enough to adopt two! Learn more about whale adoption through the WDC's website by clicking the title of this article.
